Glastonbury Festival 2025 has announced its main line-up, with headline performances from The 1975, Charli XCX and Olivia Rodrigo. But fans have also noticed that many of the names on the bill are LGBTQ+ women and Trans people. Here are some of the performers we’re most excited to see at Worthy Farm this summer.
Doechii
Bisexual rapper Doechii is set to perform on Saturday. The self-titled “Swamp Princess” recently triggered a viral moment with her incredible performance at the DSquared2 show at Milan Fashion Week.
St Vincent
Legendary guitarist (aka coolest woman ever Anne Erin Clark) will perform on the Sunday of Glastonbury Festival. She won three Grammy’s at this year’s awards show, where she casually revealed in her acceptance speech that she has a wife and daughter.
Kae Tempest
Poet Kae Tempest, who uses they/them pronouns and shared their non-binary identity in 2020, will play on Sunday of Glasto 2025. They combine spoken word with music for a beautiful symbiosis.
CMAT
Indie pop musician Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson, AKA CMAT, will be playing on Friday of Glastonbury. She’s been described as “Irish mother”…
Anohni and the Johnsons
Anohni and the Johnsons will perform on the Friday of the festival. Lead singer Anohni changed the band name to better align with her Trans identity in 2016, saying: “The trans condition is a beautiful mystery; it’s one of nature’s best ideas.”
Brandi Carlile
Brandi Carlile is an iconic Lesbian artist with (just) 11 Grammies. She’ll play on the Saturday of Glastonbury Festival. Watch her recent collab with Elton John below!
Girl In Red
Everyone’s favourite Norwegian Gen-Z Queer icon Girl In Red will play on Sunday.
Japanese Breakfast
Bisexual musician Michelle Zauner, who fronts the band Japanese Breakfast, will take to the stage on the Saturday. On Twitter, they posted this was “Glastonbury redemption”, as they had to cancel their 2023 performance at the festival due to travel issues.
And an honourable mention to Scissor Sisters, whose frontman Jake Shears may not be FLINTA, but is certainly a diva, huh huh honey.
