Rococo Revival
RIP Marie Antoinette, you would have loved the 2025 Rococo revival. Searches for ‘rococo outfit’ saw a 5,465% increase over the search period*. With bows, corsets, pastel silks and frills – 2025 will have us dressing like Little Bo Peep.

Sea Witchery
It’s into the deep with this aesthetic. ‘Dark siren make up’ searches increased by 695%, offering a more mystical take on the mermaid trend observed in recent years.

Cherry Coded
Deep patent red will be the ‘it’ colour of 2025, as searches for ‘cherry vibe’ and ‘dark cherry red’ increased by 325% and 235% respectively. It’s definitely a good time to invest in latex.

Castlecore
Pinterest noticed this trend *before* Chappell Roan went to the VMAs, but her Joan of Arc tribute certainly helped the trend become a headliner. Medieval inspired chainmail and jewellery is expected to feature heavily in 2025 styling.

Seeing Double
Twinning with your bestie or partner could be on the horizon for 2025, although the LGBTQ family is notorious for doing this all the time unintentionally anyway. ‘Matching shirts’ rose 80%, while ‘matching outfits for couples casual’ rose 90%.

Fisherman Aesthetic
Cable-knit jumpers (+110% search surge), sardine tattoos (+80%) and fish bags (+50%) will lead the way on the growth of the fisherman aesthetic next year. Good news for anyone that got fish tats during the great tinned trend of 2023.
