Luxury LGBTQ+ event organisers Joyeux Bordel are launching a new supper club in London, and the inaugural theme is “guilty pleasures.”
The first Joyeux Bordel supper club will take place on March 26 at The Table Cafe in Southwark St.
Masterchef finalist Gaston Savina has designed the three course “guilty pleasures” dinner, which will be served up with bottomless wine, interactive entertainment and a “make your own dessert” competition. Sounds messy…
On the menu is white bean hummus with a “tangy” fish crudo, and chicken fricasse with porcini mushrooms for the main course.
“I want the atmosphere to be warm, lively, and joyful,” says Joyeux Bordel founder Oceane Krugel. “It’ll be intimate, interactive, and exclusive, with an open kitchen where guests can watch the chef in action. More than just a dinner, we want everyone to be part of the experience, not just spectators, making each event as unique as the people who join.”
At this point you may be wondering, is this for dating? Friendship? Or just gastronomy? A little bit of all the above, is the answer. “It’s whatever you want it to be. Our tagline is ‘As open as you are’, so guests set their own vibe,” says Oceane. “We don’t like labels, and you never know who you’ll meet… maybe your new business partner, maybe the love of your life. As long as you’re open-minded, respectful, and up for genuine connections, you’re in for a great time and a great meal!”
