Pride In London 2024: See Pictures From This Year’s Parade

Hundreds of thousands of people lined the streets of the capital to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

This year’s Pride in London saw hundreds of thousands of people take to the streets of the capital to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community in all its glory.

More than 30,000 participants from over 500 organisations got involved in the Parade, which began at Hyde Park Corner and ended at Whitehall.

Among them were representatives from the likes of the Dean Street sexual health clinics, National AIDS Trust, African Rainbow Family and Gaydio, to name a few.

Pride in London’s ‘We Are Everywhere’ campaign, which highlights the power and importance of LGBTQ+ people, was at the forefront of the day’s protest and celebration.

Its striking visuals – made up of portraits showcasing the community’s diversity and intersectionality – were displayed along the Parade route on Piccadilly Circus’ iconic screens.

Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, led the march and said he was “delighted that London’s diverse LGBTQI+ communities and allies are once again joining together in the heart of our capital for our world-renowned Pride celebrations and march of solidarity.”

“Pride is one of the highlights of my year and it is an honour to have been on every march since I was first elected as Mayor in 2016,” he continued.

“This incredible event is a shining light for LGBTQI+ rights and shows why our city is a beacon for openness and inclusion – a place where you are embraced and celebrated for who you are. Our capital’s LGBTQI+ communities make a huge contribution to life in London.

“There is however still work to be done to achieve true equality, and as a proud ally, I’ll continue to stand side-by-side with our capital’s LGBTQI+ communities as we work to build a better London for all.”
